KIDS PROGRAM

The Ikigai kids program was created for children ages 3-13 to provide an environment that allows them to experience and understand common core values like discipline, self awareness,responsibility , respect and cooperation.
The classes are divided in two age categories: 3-7 years and 8-13 years

Kids AGE 3-7

Created to introduce the youngest students to Jiu-Jitsu by fun coordination drills and interactive games that will teach basic Jiu-Jitsu movements and beginner techniques.

Kids AGE 8-13

This program is created to build strong foundation in our students practice and improve their agility and coordination, movement. The students will be given more detailed information of Jiu-Jitsu concepts and ideas.

This class is designed to promote healthy joint function, injury rehabilitation and healing, and increase flexibility. We will be utilizing yoga, Pilates, and personal training concepts to promote long-lasting effects. All levels are welcome.

RESPONSABILITY 

Martial arts teach your child that life is a responsibility
Enrolling your child in a martial arts class will teach them that life is a responsibility. Moreover, most martial arts classes have responsibility as one of the core values. Most martial arts students learn earlier in life that being responsible is a requirement in life. Instructors often take time to take time to discuss responsibility with students at a personal level.

Consequently, you’ll see your child become more responsible as they progress through the training. For example, you’ll start to see your child take care of personal items and help with cleaning around the house. You may even see your child start to set up the dinner table and help with garbage disposal.

If you enroll your child in a martial arts class, they’ll have to attend class at least a couple of times per week. Attending class teaches responsibility. Children learn that achieving anything in life requires discipline. New trainees are often inspired by the achievements their peers have attained on the mat.

In the modern society children fall to peer pressure and start using alcohol and drugs. This may lead to reckless behavior that might spiral out of control. Parenting in the modern society is a challenge. However, with a little help from martial arts, you children can learn responsibility and discipline. Martial art is the best way to beat peer pressure and remain level headed.
